Re: ProGUI V1.18! User Interface Library (New PanelEx Scroll

Thanks very much Barney :D Just out of interest, what other language is the wrapper for? Glad it's all working anyway :)
Hi Chris,

the other language is IWBasic previously known as Emergence Basic but now under completely new management.

I've been testing your lib with it while at the same time ...

Re: ProGUI V1.18! User Interface Library (New PanelEx Scroll

Got it as soon as I woke up. :)
Took me some time to check the wrappers I've created for another language.
Started working.

Excellent work, Chris!

Re: Character FX is now Free!

It has been free for quite a few years. Check the date of the install file.
Also, CharacterFX is pretty much obsolete by today's standards.

Re: Looks interesting...

Yes, it is very good. I've already produced a small test game for my HTC Wildfire and it works perfectly even though Wildfire is not very fast compared to higher spec models. The same stuff works in the browser, too. And.. since it is very much BASIC like syntax it is also quite enjoyable to program ...

Re: Looks interesting...

Purchased it a few days ago. Looks like a mix between Blitz3D and BlitzMax. As is usual with Mark's languages it'll take a while before we get really good docs but what's available isn't too bad. It's quite usable if one already has experience with his languages and way of thinking. The base product ...

Re: Help deleting a file in System32 dir

Hmm.. The real question here is: "Who in his right mind would try to do anything in any of the systems folders?". Unless, of course one is creating an utility program, which would imply that one has enough knowledge about the inner workings (and differences) between Win32 and Win64.

Re: PureGDK 2.0 - DarkBasic Professional for any language

Very interesting. I've just downloaded the 2.0 demo and am looking forward to test it with IWBasic as well as with PureBasic. So far it's looking very promising. Will probably purchase the package before the end of the year. Very good work

This seems to be more important than I thought. I'll make the app switch automatically to users language.
Don't make it automatic. That's one of the worst things to do. At least ask the user if he/she wants the language you detected and let him change it if necessary. My native language is ...

Yes, it's Blitz3D SDK and one can use it with any language capable of calling a DLL. Windows environment only, though.

Congratulations!

It would be interesting to see how many purchases you get from TGC site. If there's one thing they know how to do, it's PR and advertising various stuff they sell.
