Trackball/Arckball Camera calculations (3d) ?

I have got a problem with 3d Calculations.
How do I calculate an Arckball camera? This is one where you can move your seight with the mouse lke in most Shooters. My Problem is that I don't know how to calculate the Look At point and the Up vector. Couldanyone help me please?

If you do not want to download everythink, search a ".dll" file called d3dx9**_*.dll (* is any number, ** can be nothing or "d") in Windows\System32\ copy it and rename it into "d3dx9_30.dll". I did it, and so far, everything works. :wink:

(3D) What Are Normalos and how are they used?

I'd try a little bit with Ogre and now I want to use Light and Shadow.
I did try it with a sample cube and found out that I have to set the "Normalos". Now is my question:

How can I use normalos,
and how do I calculate them,
and before everything What are normalos?

But other 3D programs using Ogre are running great ( on the bad PC), event at 1024*768*32.

(Now I'am at home and everything runs)

I did try 640*480 and 32 bit but without any succes.

At Home it runs great, and it looks cool.

There is no log. (The program did run but with black screen)

I can run other applications using OGRE, like the PB Examples.

I could't test it baecause I'm on a old computer....

Is there a general rule how you call Direct 3D functions in PB?
(I want to use the Direct X SDK, the Function names are for C++)
