Re: Studies against AV false positives
{snip}If this is a "study" and you are a malware analysis person and its your daily business you would have known from the very beginning you can't analyze a 'false positive' (or even an actual malware positive) for a study while specifically excluding the conditional environment yet you ...

Excuse me, can someone please post a link to the actual "Shock North Korea possible EMP Weapon" thread? This one is obviously not it.

Re: Studies against AV false positives
I wasn't being dismissive ... If your daily business is malware analysis it would have been somewhat obvious to you too.
So how would you call that?

My daily business is malware analysis, reverse engineering and computer forensics, so what. No need to be that dismissive!

I wasn't being dismissive, I apologize if you assumed it as such.
That's our daily business too, with approximately, world wide, several hundred people doing it, some of them recognized experts in the field and even representatives from the various AV package companies working with us, among other ...

Re: Studies against AV false positives
I meant it was a waste of time using such to base a study on, because it excludes the conditional environment for finding the real trigger cause and settles for the cosmetic notification/reporting instead. That's all your actually seeing with AV packages that do not report/notify for 'false ...

Re: Studies against AV false positives
Nah, we do this type of stuff for a living professionally. We contract to a lot of these AV package companies to examine these types of things every day.

Re: Shock North Korea possible EMP Weapon
How ironic is this. My last post @infobyt3 i was going to jokingly say it was an EMP from North Korea  http://www.purebasic.fr/english/viewtopic.php?f=17&t=54097
Then i have just come across this from dec 2012 in the Washington Post.
North Korea EMP attack could destroy U.S. — now

Re: Studies against AV false positives
1. If you are basing your "study" upon results from on-line AV scanners you are wasting your time.
2. The premise in this thread for determining suitability for determining a false positive is flawed by assuming that because some don't detect a false positive it means there is no real reason for a ...

For me, it's quite interesting to see that so much people don't imagine that some others just don't see their lives in terms of work and money. Growing, business, and so on.
Art, craftwork and beauty, are words that I feel better with.

Its difficult to describe, but Purebasic its self is not approved nor will it ever be, its each use of PureBasic code that has to be approved. These are two different things legally.

Re: PureBasic 5.11 is out !
Just pointing out its not as simple as what everyone wants to think.
You seem to be the one who thinks it's as "simple" as Fred telling you what changed. If that's the "certification", it's a sham.
You want to know what libraries changed? Look at build dates and file fingerprints. Fred can't ...
