Re: PureBasic: the Quiet Survivor
Smalltalk is powerful and the code is clean and easy to read, which is why I prefer it to Java.
One important point I would like to explicitly emphasise here is that this is not about the technical capabilities of various programming languages, but solely about code quality. To avoid ...

Re: PureBasic: the Quiet Survivor
Yeah Java is very good for me, used quite a lot for ray-tracing it is very cool, so Haskell and Erlang is worse language for me and I never understood that.

Re: From PowerBasic to PureBasic a reference aid
I have heard some in the PowerB community say PureB isn't BASIC. That always made me scratch my head because in spite of the name, PowerB isn't really BASIC, it is more based on ALGOL than BASIC.
Ok, let's look at this from a purely technical point of view. How must a real BASIC ...

PowerBasic Discussion (was: From PowerBasic to PureBasic a reference aid)
// Splitted from From PowerBasic to PureBasic a reference aid (Kiffi)
PowerBasic ... for some reason bought it years ago (last version too). Then its programmer died sadly and that was it. A end-user bought the rights and then again more silence. There are still fanboys out there on its forum ...
