Re: TreeGadget #PB_Tree_ThreeState - user can select "in between" state

Ah, that's it.
Some of the clicks come through as double clicks.

I would never have thought of that. Thank you very much, Piero.

Re: TreeGadget #PB_Tree_ThreeState - user can select "in between" state

Thanks Piero, but I get the same result with your code.
If you click multiple times e.g. on the first items checkbox in the tree (Normal Item 0), after a while (sometimes after 7 clicks, sometimes after the 20. click, it differs and is not constant), the checkbox shows the "-" for in between. The ...

Re: TreeGadget #PB_Tree_ThreeState - user can select "in between" state

Thanks Mindphazer.

I tried to suppress the “in between” state in my program below, but it won’t work.
Every now and then a checkbox will show the in between state. If this is the case, the checkbox
will change to checked if I select another item in the tree and then click once again the wrong one ...

TreeGadget #PB_Tree_ThreeState - user can select "in between" state

Hi, the help file for TreeGadget states:

The #PB_Tree_ThreeState flag can be used in combination with the #PB_Tree_CheckBoxes flag to get checkboxes that can have an "on", "off" and "in between" state. The user can only select the "on" or "off" states. The "in between" state can be set ...

Mac AddKeyboardShortCut, no event for Numpad keys in PB6.04

Hi, since PB6.04, no event is send for the numbers from the numpad keys with AddKeyboardShortcut on MacOs.
In former versions of PB, pressing e.g. 0 on the numpad returned 48 (the same as pressing the ‘normal’ 0 key)
from the debug in the example program below.
In PB6.04, pressing the 0 on the ...

Re: 6.03 LTS beta 5 - ResizeImage(...#PB_Image_Smooth) 4 times slower than before

Hi, just checked again with different PB versions.
My statement about versions before 603B5 was wrong. The slowdown started after version 601LTS.
602B2 was a little bit slower than the versions before, since 602LTS it is the same for all following versions ->
~4 x slower than 601LTS.

Sorry for the ...

Re: 6.03 LTS beta 5 - ResizeImage(...#PB_Image_Smooth) 4 times slower than before

Thanks for testing.
Hm, so I have no idea why it is so slow on my computer.
It is a Mackbook Pro with 16GB Ram + M1 Pro processor. I have tried it with and without threadsave, with and without optimize,
from within the IDE and as executable and it is always the same on my system.

If anyone got an ...

6.03 LTS beta 5 - ResizeImage(...#PB_Image_Smooth) 4 times slower than before

Hi,
in the new beta5 on m1 Mac + C compiler, ResizeImage in Smooth mode is about 4 times slower
than in the previous versions.

Small testcode:

CreateImage(0, 2304, 1152)
t1 = ElapsedMilliseconds()
ResizeImage(0, 768, 393, #PB_Image_Smooth)
t1 = ElapsedMilliseconds() - T1
