Re: SGL (Simple GL)
Thank you minimy, I want to update it for high DPI to show how to manage that properly but at the moment I have no time for PureBasic, I'm busy with making some money in stocks and respectfully spending some time with exponents of the opposite sex during my summertime vacation :D
Hope to come back ...

Re: Good Freeware Stuff
Forgive me if anyone has already posted about it, but it was easier to post it than to to read all of the messages on this thread
You can just type "rapidee" in the "search this topic" box.
It will search just inside this thread.
BTW: I like it, too bad you can't change the font size, on a 4K ...

ImHex
https://docs.werwolv.net/imhex/views/hex-editor
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ImHex
It's much more than a Hex Editor and probably overkill, but it's very configurable and a pleasure to look at.

@Randy Walker
I also use DesktopOK, very useful.
I didn't know "everything", from a quick test it seems pretty amazing, thanks.

Ventoy
https://www.ventoy.net/en/index.html
I use it to store multiple bootable images on a USB disk (recovery tools, windows and linux bootable ISO, etc.) and then select what to boot through its menu.

Re: Good Freeware Stuff
Imagine I was even a registered user when it was shareware.
I disliked Comodo very much, more with any new version, same as with Revo Uninstaller. :D
Another one is CCleaner, was useful and with any new version became worse and worse.
Sometimes the direction software I previously liked took slowly ...

Windows Firewall Control
https://binisoft.org/wfc
A free management tool for Windows Firewall.
Originally it was shareware, then MalwareBytes bought BiniSoft (in 2018) but kept the software as freeware and it is still being maintained.

Re: Good Freeware Stuff
No matter the case, I will never use the windows "Programs and Features" option to uninstall any app again.
Yep, if the uninstaller of every program did its job properly, all this would not be necessary. They are practically always atrocious. One of the reasons why I love portable programs ...

Re: Good Freeware Stuff
@ Randy Walker
I used Revo Uninstaller for a long time, but it got worse in my opinion, also it has a lot of "graphical fluff", silly animations, it's no longer my kind of software.
BCU seems similar to the old Revo Uninstaller, but with a cleaner interface, it's quicker and straight to the point ...

Re: SGL (Simple GL)
Hi, I have no real idea but I imagine the answer is still probably no.
My example (again it's not a remotely usable gui, it's an example of a possibile way of building a IMGUI in OpenGL) needs a batch renderer and unless the PB interface to OGRE support batch rendering and gives you new PB commands ...
