Is it maybe a DPI awareness problem? Does it still happen if you use 100% (standard) display scaling in windows?

i had it on 125%, when i changed it to 100%, the form designer displayed properly ... but the text is very small for my apps and programs, not sure i can stay ...

don't really want to try a beta version :( :(
You can install the beta to its own folder and it won't interfere with your everyday installation. PureBasic's good like that.

ok, updated initial post so the screenshots are displayed.

I rebooted my laptop, still same problem. I opened a different project, still same problem.

Any help would be appreciated.

I have updated from PB 5.60 to 5.70 LTS x64-64 bit for Windows, and the form designer is not displaying things properly:

1. there is a horizontal as well as a vertical white bar across my form

2. the text displayed in buttons and so on are not displayed properly, the text is wider than ...
