Making a Quick Launch ting

How do you add a Quick launch ting into the taskbar.

You gotta add straight into the system file or API involved?

Aight, Peace.

FillConsoleOutputAttribute_()

I was tryna make the background colour for a console change by usin' WinAPI, so I used this, but it don't work:-

OpenConsole()

Bob.COORD
Bob\X=1
Bob\Y=1

conOut = GetStdHandle_(#STD_OUTPUT_HANDLE)

FillConsoleOutputAttribute_(conOut,#BACKGROUND_BLUE,80*50,B
ob,1)
Delay(5000)

:) Thank you, it works. That really bugged me for time, 'cos I never used to use windowed screens. And embarrasingly enough, it is meant to be an RPG.

I hadn't worked on this code for like a month, and as soon as I came back to it, I flopped.

Thanks again to everyone who helped.

No, already tried the both. I didn't clean up the code, but here it is anyway:-

If InitKeyboard() = 0 Or InitSprite() = 0
MessageRequester("Error", "DirectX 7 unloadable", 0)
End
EndIf

InitMouse()

XIncludeFile "project b map.pb"

Dim ground(58,40)
Dim move(58,40)
Dim drawnextscreen(30,20)
Dim ...

Thanks for the response, but adding a delay did not actually solve my problem. I apologise if I'm being a pest, but I wanted to know how it worked in the Spartan RPG Engine which does not use any delays. Or maybe I'm just missing something else. I'll keep trying with the delay if I cannot find any ...

Windowed Screen Problems

This is probably something stupid, but when I used a windowed screen for my 2D game, my mouse used to always stay on loading. I appear to have somehow overcome that problem, but now, whenever you press the keys, it doesnt do anything unless the mouse is being moved. Is this some weird bug or am I ...

While your busy hunting the last monster on level whatever of which ever game;
Your not think true thoughts, your thinking of murder & killing.
Your not being honest with yourself about how it really is effecting you.
It certainly isn't a just thing, to run over people on the street virtual or ...

Well, sorry if you feel so strongly, but I must say that from the experience of my own life, these are the things I believe.

I know how you feel tryna protect yo kids from videogames, 'cos I myself did not purchase GTA: San Andreas, no matter how bad I wanted it because of my 2 impressionable ...

Thanks for all the great arguments, with such a wide range of people's opinions and views, I'm pretty much ready.

Personally, I believed that the people blaming violent videogames on violent behaviour were totally obsurd and obviously had never played videogames themselves.

What also needs to be ...
