Thanks for the replies :)

I'm going integrate the code posted into my program to see how it works. As the program is mouse driven, I do need that to work.

Thank you again.

Disable Windows keyboard?

Hi all,

I'm writing a small program for my son (2yrs old) who loves bashing the keyboard and he's sort of getting the hang of moving the mouse around.

The problem I have is that when he hits the keys, it invariably causes the program to either quit, crash or for Windows to change the focus to ...

Hi all,

After a long hiatus due to other commitments, I'm back onto playing with PB. I've just upgraded from 3.93 to 94 today and felt the need to post a big thank you to Fred for the wonderful PB and Freak for the changes to the IDE. Awesome :)

I have used Japbe for a long time simply because it ...

ZoneAlarm and BitDefender here.

I've used many of the anti-virus packages at home and as an IT Admin. There's no such thing as a perfect app, but some are worse than others. Norton used to really annoy me when it decided it had found a virus in a file. I kept getting a looping dialog box about it ...

I must be in the minority here....

I have a PS1 which I occasionally use to play the excellent Tekken IV. But, I'll never buy another console because I love my PC games too much and think the consoles (here in the UK at least) are way overpriced/overhyped. I only have to look at the price of a PS2 ...

Sorry, didn't mean to impress with stupid names, but it's what one kind of solution to this problem is actually named.
To see what it does, type in 2+2, then press Enter, or type in A=sqr(2^3)-.2 and Enter then MyVar=A*2-.3 and then Enter, or 1<>2. See what it does?? :)

It's not that it's a ...

OMG! You lost me when you wrote "recursive descent parser expression evaluator"!!!

What on earth does it mean (in stupid people language please)? I'm a complete dummy when it comes to maths (and PB of course) and haven't a clue what your code does. It looks very impressive though fwiw :D ...

Nice post Pantcho!! and very true. The PB forums have grown into a great community that is almost as addictive as the software itself.

If I'm being honest, I still spend much of my time reading other people's code posted on here mainly because I'm just not advanced enough to do much more. The day I ...

Hydra!

Hi all,

I'm a huge chess fan and have been following the games currently being played between UK GM Michael Adams and the computer Hydra. So far, the score is 2 games to Hydra and 1 drawn. To give you an idea of just how amazing a feat it is for a human to even score a draw against a machine like ...

Yes, I should have thought of that myself before posting! I must have been having a blonde moment (but don't tell my wife I said that!) :D

Nice app! Thanks for sharing.

Is there any chance of....
1. Being able to maximise or expand the Window size? I have a screen res of 1280x1024 and it's not quite big enough.
2. For the program to clear the content of the top pane when a new search is started.
3. Export/save the results.

These aren ...
