All I want to do is input some data into some variables, run some calcs and output to the screen. Can I do this with PureBasic and OS X?

I created a working directory. I save my *.pb files there and have Purebasic pointet to that directory under preferences. When I compile and run, where does is save the exe at? I can't seem to find it. I am running OS X Mavericks on MacBook Pro.....

I am thinking about purchasing and registering PB OS X. Is there a PDF of all the commands and the syntax? I found a website pointing to all the commands, but I wanted to print them and put them in a three ring binder..... Just my method of marking and highlighting for reference.

I am trying to invoke 'clear screen' and it says syntax error when I run....

I was a windows user until about a year ago and was sorta getting into Power Basic (Bob Zale). Now that I on the Mac platform, I am looking to replace PowerBasic. I like what I am reading about Purebasic. But will I be able to write some code and compile a stand along app that will run under OS x ...
