PurePunch Contest #2 vote - June 2009
Not less than 54 programs were done this month. Some of them were really amazing, and showed us how far we can go with Purebasic. Thanks to the Fantaisie software team for this great language!
Check all the source codes in this archive : http://djes.free.fr/purebasic/purepunch ... ontest.zip
After that, it will be time to vote for the best Purepunch! Vote will be closed on august, the 1st.
Please notice that this poll is not secured, so someone may cheat. I hope there's no such lamer on our forums.
PS: in the future, I think it would be nice if some award could be given to the winner. If you have the possibility to sponsor in any way our contest, it would greatly enhance the challenge. Don't hesitate to contact me so that we can work together.

Some are not understanding how it works. A new vote system will be created for september.Psychophanta wrote:Damn! why don't you use the same as for PurePunch Contest #1?djes wrote:Please notice that this poll is not secured
also personally i would like to have the poll on this forum too... instead creating somehwere a new account and possible having fake-accounts! thats not fair!
So, even when the poll on the pb forum is limited to 10 entries... why not just do the vote on following way:
Creating a topic, where people can post the winner (if only vote is accepted) or voting the best first three enties (1st place 10 3points, 2nd place 2 points, 3rd place 1point) ?
just an idea... anyway good luck to all contributors

If Fred would be willing to create a punch topic then each entry could be added as a new thread with it's own poll.
If each entry had it's own thread then each entry can be appraised, discussed, improved and given due recognition.
Also if there was different judging criteria, it wouldn't just come down to technical ability alone, while it's ok to have an out right winner it's more about participation and fun and should be inclusive of all technical ability so anyone can enter.
I think Va!n's three vote 1st 2nd and 3rd could be ok as well.
