Correct. I hate ad banners.
I compile using 5.31 (x86) on Win 7 Ultimate (64-bit).

total commander is a good tool! but not freeware...

with plugins firefox has:

but anyway firefox has also a great calendar, notes, adfilter, email[Mozilla Thunderbird, GREAT piece of free software!], Newsgroups[thunderbird again], download manager...

and a LOT of other things. again, some of the functions above are plugins, but thunderbird and calendar is made by mozilla.

so get firefox, and try the plugins. Oh forgot one feature: NO AD'S!

Yeah Opera is adware. But it's a good browser. But it doesn't handle tables properly. I use Firefox and I'm very happy with that. I also use Thunderbird on a day to day basis even though I got a license for The Bat! hehehe. Guess I prefer stability over funtionality ;)

Avast Home is my antivirus of choice and Sygate as a firewall. Very happy with those too.

yeah thunderbird is a very stable.. 1.0.2 is the newest and it actually has some nice features! I was using Pegasus mail but switched to Thunderbird. Its easier and i prefer to be able to view html without having to launch a browser..
