Version 10.7 of OS X has come out for iMac computers and I might buy it. I am told by Apple Care that not all software that runs on 10.6 will run on 10.7, so does PureBasic run on 10.7?

Thank you for your help.

Works here. PB on OS X does have some bugs but it looks like Fred is either going to fix some before the next release or maybe he's just waiting to release the next version for Mac which uses Cocoa instead of Carbon. I was able to put a "bug-less" app on the Mac App Store and getting ready for my second. Now the current PB for Mac version did cause me to stop a couple of ideas/projects last year. So just look through the bug section on the forum just to make sure it's not going to stop you from creating what you want.

J. Baker,

Do you use 10.7 on a mac? Do you feel that I can go ahead and buy Lion (10.7) ?

Thank you for your help.

The last PB version works fine on Lion.
That being said, the next version with Cocoa should be much better :)

Hi there,

I think, PB is working well under Lion. I have three of my Apps in the Mac App Store :-)
Actually, my wishes are simple: Better Networking, Cocoa, and some smaller things left.
Fred and the team did a very good job, bringing PB to Mac OS X!
