It is truly amazing what the Amiga was/is capable of: I remember a demo of a 3D short called 'Red's Nightmare' (a spoof of Pixar's 'Red's Dream') that played at 8 or 10 frames/sec at full screen, rendered through a real-time DCTV converter on a 33mhz Amiga! And that was with only 8 megs of 16 bit ram!

I miss my DCTV and DCTV Paint, too... :(

Squeezing 21 bits of color detail into 4 bits is quite amazing...
