[5.40 beta 6] Compare Files - wrong line numbers

I experienced the following on Windows 10, and on Linux Mint 17.2 Cinnamon as well:
In the "Compare Files" tool which is built-in in the IDE, the line numbers are wrong.
Is there a related setting or something which I am missing, or is this a bug?

It appears that PB Compare only displays the Most Significant Digit of the line number.
