Some programs run only with debugger

Hello

Since about 2 - 3 weeks some programs are only running in debug mode. The executable is created - its in the folder but does not "exist"


Translation from German: ... could not be found. Make sure to type the name errorfree and repeat.

It's obvously there but does not exist as an executable - making a link on the desktop and starting it from the link has the effect, that link und exe are deleted.

The same happens with a temoprary compilation0.exe - works sometimes only with debugger on - if the debugger is off then the exe is not found.

I switched several times from 5.10 beta to 5.00 - have made a fresh installation meanwhile - on the other hand I make these "switches" between versions since 7 or 8 years and it never failed, because I make backups for each version and just rename the working folder to purebasic and that was working well so far.

Most programs work and only some don't - some of the 510 3D examples work only with debugger on - all others work fine.
And now that behavior has spread over to the 5.00 version which worked error free for the last 6 - 8 weeks since I installed it.

I guess your suggestion is right - it can only be a windows system envorinment error

I made some tests during the last hour and since some older PB-programs are not working as expected also - it cannot have to do with PB 500 or PB 510Beta

PS: Obviously an error since an update of Avast! about 2 weeks ago - I remember that there is other strage behaviour - Icons get occasionally deleted from the desktop as well since about 2 weeks. After switching off certain "security" settings Pure Basic and Programs created with it run fine as usual ...
