IDE - "Mini Map" for the Tool Panel

Got an idea for enhancing PureBasic? New command(s) you'd like to see?

IDE - "Mini Map" for the Tool Panel

Post by c4s »

A great feature that other editors have is the mini map, preview, bird view, overview that shows the (whole) source code in a small window. Actually hard to explain without images, so here are some examples: I think it would be great if we could have something like this as an optional tool because it helps to navigate in larger sources and generally gives a better "overview".

What happens with IncludeFiles, though?
I compile using 5.31 (x86) on Win 7 Ultimate (64-bit).

Maybe I was unclear about it but the mini map is supposed to be a "zoomed out" overview of the currently loaded source file. The examples I've posted should give you some insight on that.

Yes it would be great to have a "document map" in the PB IDE ! :)
