Hmm.. I haven't touched the download code. Perhaps you're behind a firewall?
Hello.
Do not opens the point panorama . Is that possible?
Link interpreted correctly, but the result is a black empty picture.
eg
https://maps.google.com/maps?ll=59.9340 ... 0&t=m&z=11

It seems like Google has changed their URL structure. An easy fix, I might do this sometime soon. Thanks.

to you thank you very much. I wait for updates :)

There is an idea :) It would be nice to make the converter into cubemap and save individual 6 images. However, I convert Panoweaver or online converter that creates a loss of quality and time

Indeed that sounds like a great suggestion. I am a big fan of cube maps myself. Actually this is something I could probably do with the built in 3D engine in PB. I'll keep you posted.

Hi guys,

I have released an update that solved all of your previous concerns. Let me know if there is anything else. I will look into cube map export for the next update.

Thanks,

Olby.

How can I view a downloaded panorama again?
I was looking at it after downloading via Preview and it had some black areas. Though the output file seemed intact. I wondered if restarting the app would fix it, perhaps it could not load the file properly for whatever reason, but I can't figure out how to open already downloaded pictures again :?:

If you have restarted the application and the pano list is empty just add the pano back (Add Pano) and hit preview. If the file exists in the output directory (i.e. has been previously downloaded) it will be opened for preview.

Black or gray areas might mean that some tiles could not be downloaded or there was an error during the download process.

[Edit] I have found the culprit. It seems like Google has optimised the way they store their panoramas. Utility is adjusted accordingly. Please re-download the v1.6 again. Thanks.

So I have to save the link to the pano to view presiously downloaded images?
When I enter the link again it shows some ID in the ListView, yet I can't enter the ID from the output image. It is not recognized as a valid Street View URL (obviously).

I don't know about tiles and how your program works with them. The image in the output folder is complete. It seems some tiles are not properly loaded. I have a black area in all of the places I tested it with just now.
The upper half of half a "turn" is always black. Independent of the quality I select.

Have you tried the latest updated (I just re-uploaded the file)? Also please link to the panorama you're having trouble with. Thanks.

I just downloaded it 2 hours ago. Now again. Same black sky.
It doesn't matter which one I try.

From your video it seems like the panoramas are downloaded and stitched correctly. The problem is within the preview mode. Can you tell me the model of your video card and if you have DirectX 9 installed? Thanks.

Hello
v1.6 - panorama point on the quality of lower 6 is now downloaded (with errors) and a lot of new bugs and on the roads and on point panoramas:
Quality 3,4,5,6 welded
or dark picture,
or not enough left-right,
or top and bottom black checkers. :?

quality 6
https://maps.google.com/maps?ll=49.4266 ... 0&t=m&z=11
Image

quality 5
https://maps.google.com/maps?ll=48.8344 ... 1&t=m&z=11
Image

In version 1.5 there is any quality (1,2,3,4,5,6) Roads Downloaded fine, but point panoramas were all black

\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\
edit:
I reloaded v1.6. - Checkers gone. thank you. But some point panoramas quality 6 are black, and less than 6 such as this one yard left and right wall does not fit (not the entire wall)

Thanks for your report, its very helpful. I have looked into this and so far it seems like the point street views are very inconsistent in number of tiles and sizes. It's very hard to predict the correct values without full access to Street View API (something Google is not offering of course). I'll have to think about this a little more when I have the time. Meanwhile I could use your help in collating a list of erroneous panoramas (you can PM me). Thanks.
