Have a nice day, friends!

I need a little help.
In the Czech Republic, at the time of communism (cca 1984), there was the game "Přes palubu" (by Irisa - today produces christmas decorations  ) - translated to English "Overboard".

This game was original, but it was inspired by Alex Randolph's game (1978).
https://boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/613/overboard

The Czech version also has "captains" at the last row, and some other differences.

Unfortunately, after the Czechoslovak revolution in 1989, the game completely disappeared from the world. Fortunately, after several years, I managed to get the game and get together, plus instructions!

So I decided "to save the game" and make a PC version. The game is basically done. Now I'm still working on artificial intelligence...
This is it:

Now, however, please, I need to help translate rules into English or French.

I do not speak English or French well, so it would not be understandable for the natives.

Please, would anyone be willing to translate these rules? E.g. using a translator and fix it to the right grammar ...

Here is text in GoogleDocs:
https://docs.google.com/document/d/1Jlcz89a5GFJWWOxGF9U3qdJeSbFq0Gxlb-rI-n0ElFM/edit?usp=sharing

Otherwise. The game is, of course, in PureBasic.

Thank you very much in advance to all volunteers! :)

Hi,

not what you want, but I later translate it to english.
Quote:

Done with the help of a czech friend who speaks german very well. (Thanks Tom)

Bernd

I am confident on the first few paragraphs, however; I think I need to play the game to give a better translation. ( most of it is google translate )
Quote:
Goal of the game
With tactical moves, both players try to force as many of the opponent's pieces as possible off the field
and at the same time protect their pieces from being removed.
The winner is: whoever manages to push all the opponent's pieces off the board (version A, the right button) or whoever keeps the most pieces after three tries (version B, button right).
The game also can end in a draw.

possible moves
A game piece can be pushed forward, backward or sideways.
Figures with a color ring (captain) may not be moved backward.
If the players own game pieces stand in front of the current game piece, the whole row can be shifted by one place.
If there is no free space in the direction of the turn of a piece or a whole series of game pieces,
it is possible to press the same or a smaller number of enemy characters.
If the opposing character is at the edge of the board and is moved by dragging,
This falls over the edge (overboard) and is removed from the game.
If a game piece is behind the character or line of the opponent, the move cannot be executed.
If the captain stands in a row of figures, the whole row must not be moved back (this does not apply in the case of the opponent's turn).
If opponent backtracking moves with the same number of figures, the same move must not be repeated immediately.

Start of the game
Red starts first. On the first move, one of the counter-characters falls over the edge of the board and is removed from the game.
This may also be the case in several subsequent moves,
in which the players prepare a tactical position for the game's end.

draw
A draw occurs after three tries of a position or not enough game pieces (i.e., figures remain in the 1: 1 ratio on the field).
In game version B (right button) the one who has more pieces on the board at this time wins.

Norm.

Thank you very much guys!!

German is great, we can put more languages there (flags), that's not a problem!

So I'll have English and German for now. If someone else translates into anything, I'd like to add.

At the end of the game there are tables:

Red won (or red wins)?
Blue won (or blue wins)?
Draw

--

Rot gewonnen?
Zeichnen?

Maybe in your case : Draw not means "zeichne"

In Card or Boardgames it is like "make your turn", "draw your card or stone" or "make a new game"....

So its difficult to see without the right sense ;)

Make a new game : Neues Spiel
Your Turn : Ihr Zug
Draw in this sense is in german : ziehen

(This is the past tense)
Red won : Rot hat gewonnen
Blue won : Blau hat gewonnen

(this is present tense)
Red wins : Rot gewinnt
Blue wins : Blau gewinnt

The translation depends on the meaning of the statement.

If "Draw" means to start a new game, then the translation is: "Neues Spiel".
If "Draw" means a move to be made, it's "Ihr Zug" or "Sie sind am Zug" or something like that.

"Draw" meant in the sense of indecisive result.

1:0 - red wins
0:1 - blue wins
1:1 - draw

in french (based on english translation)....

Quote:

The translation for the english "Draw" (meaning 0:0 or 1:1 or "Remis" in French) into German is "Unentschieden".
