Is printing okay on Mac?

Post by Olliv »

Hello,

Do the printing functions in Purebasic make good outputs on paper? (no border problem, etc...)

Is a good question and I'm interested to hear what others have to say about it.

PB has changed over the years, for the Mac, and now I have to use a font size 4 times larger than the screen size to have the same output but the print is sharp. When printing graphics I use the same formula and to simplify things I use a procedure that does the conversions for both and to do the print routines.

There are several options on the mac besides PB's built in print.
You can use applescript, you can use the webprint userlib (http://www.purebasic.fr/english/viewtop ... 6&p=395875).
Using HTML formatted text gives you a more or less similar result regardless of platform.
