Any idea what the value is for my old Legos?

Post by Mistrel »

Selling a bunch of old stuff from my childhood including my Legos. I've already pulled out and put together bags of complete sets and this is all of the leftover stuff.

Is there someone here that is familiar with the value of Legos to give me a rough estimate on this?

It's not much for the sum total of my childhood, I would think.

Selling Legos in bulk to shops is pretty pointless as it's usually $0.75/lb unsorted or $1.25/lb sorted. I think this is about 30lbs.

That collection isn't worth anything, sorry to say. Lego is not rare or a collector's item. My kids have five or six containers of Lego that size in their bedroom right now. It's very common.

Don't let my comment put you off... there's always someone who will buy it. Just don't expect to make a fortune. :)

Here's some of my kids Lego from one of their bedrooms. I didn't take photos from the other bedrooms:

I think it's really valuable, but only if you give them for free to a child... (chosed carefuly)
Creative dreams are priceless. :D
There are 2 methods to program bugless.
But only the third works fine.
