Lovely on face value, but picked flowers are carried with a fist! Security is earned, not wished.
Peace.

well, the flowers are symbolic. we, humans, are a very fragmented species, thats why we are so vulnerable right now. the enemy might be in hundreds of thousands, but we are in billions. if we stand together, nothing can hurt us. but we dont, because after such events, we push everyone away who looks different, even though they might want to help us.

of course, justice should and will be served, but thats not the point of this video. the point is, to not turn your child into someone who lives in constant fear and hates everyone who looks different from you.

just my two cents. :)

Life is harsh. In-group preference exists for a reason. Stop feeling guilty about it.

Because we are billions, every new parent can experiment with their children's development.
But our instinctual behaviors are borne of a time when we were few.
The many children that come from fractured homes or impoverished regions fall back on these instincts. This cannot be wished away when they reach adulthood.
So I choose peace, but with a really big stick to back it up.

Yeah.. Here in America there are a lot of gated communities with well-mixed ethnics in their communities but they all adopt "white culture"..

I'm not part of it but I get it.. My only conflict with it is when you get the cops called on you cause you're not driving a car less than five years old or you're forced to demo parts of your house or landscape because it's not of a HOA approved color or geometry(dark brown #435098457 for siding? How daaaarrreee you).. Not the rules per say but how the communities have a tendency to try and use them for social-regulation and control outside their little gates..

In Estonia it's basically do what you want to do just don't impede on others rights or trash things up.. I guess that's what makes a lot of euro-asia nations "socialism" in the eyes of average Americans.. We were shielded from hostile cultures do to bad economy for a long time, but now with immigration boom there is a massive welfare state and rising violence. Socialism in government is quickly turning to communism as it always does..

Last thought: I wonder what the 13 year old in ldlib Syria thinks about terrorists when a USAF MQ-9 Reaper misses it's target in their local town square? You can't paint over mirrors and just look through windows..
The truth hurts.

How you talk to a child about these things should vary depending on the age of the child. How young are we talking about?
