Rook Zimbabwe (Ralph) has passed away after suffering a series of strokes on the 25th

Yes, I seriously missed him as he didn't post here for a long time now. I just know him from the forum but he was a fun and nice guy... R.I.P indeed!
If any of you native English speakers have any suggestions for the above text, please let me know (via PM). Thanks!

Is this for real?
Microsoft Visual Basic only lasted 7 short years: 1991 to 1998.

That is terrible. Rook was a good guy. And way too young to go.

This really came as a shock!
But I don't think idle is a man to joke about this (I also now checked his Facebook page to confirm it).
May he rest in piece and I for one will sure miss him!

EDIT: How old did he get btw?

I wasn't known to Ralph on Facebook, but his page doesn't show anything about it here -> http://www.facebook.com/ralph.dunn1
I guess the announcement there is for friends only? Oh well. It's still sad anyway. He was a great guy. :( This is truly shocking.

 The PureBasic team could perhaps dedicate the 4.60 release to him, in the "About" box? Would be a nice tribute to his memory,
as he was a very vocal supporter of PureBasic and made a nice living from the software he created with it (point-of-sale systems).

Sad indeed!!

I only knew about him through reading some of his many great posts - clearly a loss to the community.

That is very sad news. Always loved Rook's sense of humour on this forum. He made a very nice range of point-of-sale apps, I hope someone in his family can keep those going. It is scary that someone that young can suddenly lose their life. Depressing.
