The effect of selective color found in many image editors.
The very effect is that a color image can only any one color, and other colors are converted to grayscale.

Re: The effect of selective color
Can not download it, unfortunately. The virus scanner blocked and said there would be a virus or spyware in it.

You know what kind of anti-virus?
They generally someone uses?
Re: The effect of selective color
An anti-virus company that has been accused of cheating in the past (source: http://www.google.com/search?q=qihoo+360+cheating).kvitaliy wrote:Qihoo-360 ???
I also get the "HEUR/QVM05.1.0000.Malware.Gen" from Qihoo-360 with all my PureBasic exes. The good news is, you can contact them to submit a false-positive report and they'll remove your exe from their database. The bad new is, your exe's next update will once again be falsely flagged with them. I've given up worrying about them.
Any virus result with "HEUR" in the name is a false-positive. That's why Qihoo-360 is the only 1 out of 53 anti-virus companies thinks your exe is malicious. 1 out of 53. Says it all. Maybe they're trying to boost their "detection" rate or something.
Re: The effect of selective color
their detection is baffling...Dude wrote:I also get the "HEUR/QVM05.1.0000.Malware.Gen" from Qihoo-360 with all my PureBasic exes.
Here is entire source code, one line to compile in 5.42LTS-x86:
Code: Select all
MessageRequester("Hello","Hello, world!")
Qihoo-360 detects it as "QVM05.1.Malware.Gen"
I fear it might be the case that EVERY Purebasic app would be getting detected by them and some people are so paranoid they won't touch a file if it isn't "100% clean".
We need to do something about this!!! I encourage everyone to email complaint to: support@360safe.com
If we send enough they might just pull their finger out and get the 15yo kid who looks for signatures in a hex editor to fix their amateurish crappy scanner that nobody uses.
