"Blista Vision", a new application written entirely in PB and ASM is now available from http://blistasystems.com
. There are four versions available, including a free 'light' version. The 'light' version has many of the features of the bigger commercial versions, and may well satisfy many programmer's requirements.
Here's some background on this app..
While writing a forthcoming multiplayer game, we needed to be able to view in real-time the current values from two, 100 element arrays. Also we wanted to see a scrolling log panel showing status messages etc.. We originally arranged all this data as a transparent overlay, with our game running beneath it. This wasn't ideal though, so we decided to write a system that would display this data on a separate LAN connected PC. Blista Vision is the resulting app.
Please have a look at this app. All feedback good or bad would be very much appreciated, along with any suggestions and questions.
Our thanks go to the Pure Basic team for their excellent language and to this thriving and knowledgable community.
