Re-uploaded the files, should all work fine now :)

ts-soft: I was unable to get the office example to crash using all versions of the userlibrary and the dll. Can you re-create the crash? (Really nice looking app btw! :))

Cheers!

Chris.

Ah crap lol I'll add a fix for this today. The other alignment flags aren't working too due to me forgetting to pass the style parameter to the new text rendering engine, doh!

Cheers!

Chris.

Start the office example (your exe or source) and open help / about with
Mouse!

I am able to run the OfficeExample from both EXE and source with no problems.

Hmm strange, still not able to make it crash here, I'm running Windows XP with SP3. What OS are you running Thomas? can anyone else make it crash and if so what OS?

P.S. I've had a few celebratory drinks with my mates so I'm gunna leave the fix for the text control until tomorrow as my mind is a little impaired lol

Cheers!

Chris.

Ahh right silly me, yes this could be a Vista 64bit problem, could any one else test the office example under Vista 64? Its tricky for me to debug under Vista 64 at the moment but I should have a test rig soon.

taa!

Chris.

erm, what theme are you running, vista basic or aero? CPU? (possible little/big indeian problem)

Soner: can you get the source examples to run? this seams really strange that it works on some and not the other running the same OS *scratches head.

I was able to run example1 and could not get it to crash.

When I tried example2 it crashed immediately and now example1 does too.

However, I lied :) - I'm currently running Win 7 64 not vista, however in all my PB testing they have behaved the same.

can anyone with Vista 32 or XP confirm the above problems?

rsts: Does the problem occur when you compile any of the examples? dll, userlib, unicode, unicodethreadsafe, threadsafe?
