WebGadget - Source on linux and osx?

Is it possible to some how use the webgadget on linux and osx so can get the source code from it sort of like this example?

Has any one already done this or can it be done?

Did you already try out my example in the German forum which displays the html code of http://www.purebasic.com in Linux with GTK+ 2 and GTK+ 3?

And did you already try out jamirokwai's example which uses Javascript to get head, body, title or all parts together of a website in MacOS?
