On Windows XP SP3 x86, PB WebGadget:
This browser is not supported

Our system has detected that you are using a version of the Internet Explorer browser that is no longer supported. The website supports Internet Explorer from version 8 onwards and will not function correctly via earlier versions.

Please consider updating your browser.
Is this a sign of the future?

No reason that I can see not to update XP IE to v8. Regardless if you use IE, its so integrated and various applications takes advantage of the IE environment. Would benefit from a little extra speed and security. However to browse the Internet, I bet you use an alternative browser... good decision!

XP End of extended support is April 8, 2014.

I think you missed the point Thunder93. I do use IE 8 on WinXP, but PB5.11 does not.......

Try this: go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main\FeatureControl\FEATURE_BROWSER_EMULATION and create an key with the name of your app.exe and give thios value (hexadecimal) 1f40

This force that your app uses IE8 if installed.

The registry value works, which is great, but what happens if the app is on a PC that does not have IE8 and that reg value is added?
